RICONFIGURE FINAL EVENT
The RiConfigure project's final event will take place over three days this June. On 8, 9 and 15 June the event will bring the main results of the project to a public space and provide a space to discuss the role of quadruple helix collaboration in the future R&I landscape including in Horizon Europe. After the final event, on 17 June, there will be the possibility to participate in a half-day innovation training programme on quadruple helix collaboration, developed and tested within the RiConfigure project.
QUADRUPLE HELIX COLLABORATIONS IN PRACTICE - RICONFIGURE REPORT
The European project RiConfigure has published a report of lessons learned during its three years of activity. 'Quadruple Helix Collaborations in Practice' highlights the important differences between the quadruple helix collaboration in theory versus in practice.  It describes a myriad of barriers discovered and overcome during the project, relating to funding, role distribution, incentives, power structures and path dependency. It also highlights the importance of accessible language in order to maximise the involvement of citizens.
GOVERNING RESEARCH & RESPONSIBLE INNOVATION - MOSAIC AT FORUM INNOVATION 2021
The MOSAIC team from Université Gustave Eiffel are organising a session at the French innovation conference Forum Innovation. During the session, the recently published MOSAIC paper 'RRI legacies: co-creation for responsible, equitable and fair innovation in Horizon Europe' will be presented.  The panel session will ask 'Responsible, research, responsible innovation: how do we get there?' and include contributions from across the MOSAIC consortium.
The Research Network on Innovation presents Forum Innovatin 2021 with the theme: Higher Education and Research: Vector of Responsible Innovation. The French conference will attract an international audience online, with some roundtable events organised in Paris.
EU GREEN WEEK 2021
The European Commission is organising another edition of EU Green Week. It will take place on 31 May - 4 June 2021 and focus on the theme: Zero Pollution. MOSAIC Journal Paper
The first MOSAIC paper 'RRI legacies: co-creation for responsible, equitable and fair innovation in Horizon Europe,' will feature in a special edition of the Journal of Responsible Innovation next September. The paper discusses the 'new policy experiment' of Missions and Open Innovation and argues that co-creation can act as a linking-pin between the open science emphasis of Horizon 2020 and the open innovation accent of Horizon Europe.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE 2020+1
The Public Communication of Science and Technology conference 2020+1 will take place this May, bringing together researchers, communication staff, science centres and museums, science journalists, students, writers, editors, visual artists and more. WELCOME TO MOSAIC - MISSION-ORIENTED SWAFS TO ADVANCE INNOVATION THROUGH CO-CREATION
MOSAIC – Mission-Oriented SWafS to Advance Innovation through Co-creation – is a new Horizon 2020 project in the field of co-innovation. MOSAIC will consolidate past Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI ) project outcomes into one knowledge base and in doing so develop a new methodology. This co-innovation methodology will be tested in place-based innovation ecosystems in the frame of the Horizon Europe Mission on climate-neutral and smart cities.
NEWHORRIZON FINAL CONFERENCE & VIRTUAL EXHIBITION
The final conference for the Horizon 2020 project NewHoRRIzon will take place online in May. The programme is made up of breakout sessions that deep dive into RRI and co-creation contexts, exploring the future of the field in Horizon Europe and in the global research and innovation community.  The virtual exhibition will be a chance to learn about social labs, pilot actions and other related RRI projects.
WELCOME TO MOSAIC - MISSION-ORIENTED SWAFS TO ADVANCE INNOVATION THROUGH CO-CREATION
NewHoRRIzon has launched a Massive Open Online Course of Responsible Research and Innovation. The course is open to everybody to access free of charge. The course explores why it is important to act responsibility in research and innovation processes and reflects on different ways to apply such practices. Throughout the course, tools and case studies will be shared. Learn more and access the course here.
