ABOUT UNIVERSITÉ GUSTAVE EIFFEL.

Founded on 1 January 2020, Université Gustave Eiffel (UNI EIFFEL) is a unique, pioneering university composed of six existing bodies covering multidisciplinary thematics to address the continuous transformation of cities. From social sciences to nanotechnologies, it brings together the educational, research and economic environment for the development of the smart, resilient and resource-efficient cities of tomorrow. It is composed of a research institution, the French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, Development and Networks (former IFSTTAR), a multidisciplinary university, Université Paris-Est Marne-la Vallée (former UPEM), a school of architecture, Ecole d'Architecture Ville & Territoire Paris Est (EAV&T) and three graduate schools in engineering: ESIEE Paris, ENSG-Geomatics and the Engineering School of the City of Paris (EIVP).

The ambition is to address the societal challenges of tomorrow, to provide cutting-edge skills to the students, to offer international education programmes, to imagine and feed research and innovations covering the numerous fields linked to cities. Advice to public authorities at international, national and local levels, and dialogue with society will also feature in the University’s activities.
Université Gustave Eiffel is involved in all activities (Work Packages) within MOSAIC, but is particularly involved in WP2 (reviewing co-creation experiences and approaches), WP3 (understandin Mission implementation contexts) and WP6.
