Anna Pellizzone has been working with Bassetti Foundation since 2016 to support Horizon 2020 SMART-map Project, public engagement and communication activities. She is project manager of the TRANSFORM project and Country Correspondent for Italy for the SUPER MoRRI Project. Since 2012 she has been conducting a series of studies for the Italian National Research Council and has participated in several national (VIGOR and ATLANTE) and European projects (GEOELEC) on geothermal energy, with contributions aimed at deepening the relationship between innovation, research and society. She is co-author of several scientific publications investigating the social acceptability of new technologies and is a peer-reviewer of the journal Energy Policy. She holds a PhD from the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Milan (2015) with a thesis on geothermal energy and public engagement. She is the author of several academic publications and she is also working as a science journalist for more than 10 years.
